Elrandos Dashboard DIY BMW E36 + SD CARD
Stealth 1.28" TFT gauge for factory clusters. Live ECU data. Custom alarms, SD logging & WEB app setup.
About the product
Upgrade your factory instrument cluster into an advanced vehicle monitoring center. Our gauge set is a stealthy yet powerful solution for automotive enthusiasts who demand full control over their engine's vital signs without cluttering the interior with aftermarket pods.
What's in the Box?
- Custom PCB board
- High-quality 1.28-inch TFT screen
- All necessary wiring
- Comprehensive cluster installation manual
Installation Requirements:
Installing this kit requires opening your factory instrument cluster and running a single K-Line wire between the ECU and the cluster. Due to the nature of this modification, basic soldering skills and manual dexterity are required. If you do not feel confident performing this modification yourself, we highly recommend outsourcing the installation to a professional auto electronics workshop.
Core Capabilities:
- Live ECU Data: Direct real-time reading from the engine control unit.
- Clear Data Display: Intuitive presentation of parameters on a crisp screen.
- Smart Alarms: Fully configurable warning thresholds with audible alerts.
- Visual Customization: Adjust backlight and screen colors to match your interior.
- K-line Support: Reliable, high-speed diagnostic communication protocol.
- WEB Application: Easily manage and configure display settings via a web browser.
- Custom Intro/GIF Logo: Upload your own image, video, or GIF to display as a custom startup intro/logo.
Engine Parameters Monitored:
The gauge supports engines running the MS41 ECU as well as BMW E46 engine swaps:
- Petrol Engines (MS41 [without oil temperature reading] and E46 ECUs: MS42, MS43, MS45): Coolant temperature, lambda sensor readings, oil temperature (E46 ECUs only), RPM.
- E46 Diesel Engines: Turbo boost pressure and other core parameters.
Other factory E36 ECUs are not supported.
Important Note for Diesel Owners: It is not possible to read oil temperature directly from the ECU in diesel models. We are currently developing a dedicated external sensor module to enable this feature (coming soon).
